Empowerment Month: May 2024

Through active collaborations with key community partners like the SF LGBT Center,
OpenHouse, and Diamond Wave, the Transgender District hopes to join organizations collectively working towards advancing inclusive services and educational programs. Partnerships with The Tenderloin Museum, Glide Memorial Church, and the GLBT Historical Society help to preserve and celebrate the rich history of transgender individuals, ensuring their stories and contributions are acknowledged and honored. Through these collaborative efforts, Empowerment Month not only strengthens community bonds but also empowers
individuals to thrive in a society that fully recognizes and respects their identity.
